DJ Mixto, his real name Stephen, started his career as a Latin DJ in 2009 at the well-known Kroon Latin Night @ Kroon/Escape on the Rembrandplein in Amsterdam. Nowadays DJ Mixto is one of the most booked Latin DJs in the Netherlands. Besides being a passionate Latin DJ, DJ Mixto is also a fanatic Salsa and Bachata dancer and can therefore regularly be found in the various well-known Latin scenes.

DJ Mixto is known for his work for: Antilliaanse Feesten @ Hoogstraten Belgium (five editions), Latin Circus Amsterdam, Fuego Latin Festival @ Leeuwarden, Fiesta Deluxe @ Hoofddrop, House of Salsa @ Leeuwarden and many others. DJ Mixto is Resident DJ at Kroon Latin Night and Latin Circus @ Kroon/Escape Amsterdam.

Music style

DJ Mixto is an all-round Latin DJ with a preference for Bachata and has therefore specialized in playing Bachata Dominican and Romantica. He is often booked for the Bachata events. He also has a sophisticated Latin repertoire: Mambo, Salsa, Cuban Salsa, Merengue, Ritmo Kombina, Reggaeton and Afro Latin House.

DJ Mixto plays for the audience, feels the audience and knows how to create an atmosphere. In addition, the dance music is of course tuned to the audience present, so that every Latin lover has an equal chance of a lot of dancing fun. This makes DJ Mixto’s dance music attractive and guarantees a dazzling & swinging party where fun is central. When it comes to playing other types of genres, he is also great in Disco, Funk and Dance Classics.
